Data Analyst

Our client is a world leader in wines and spirits. This renown has been made possible by their entrepreneurial, innovative and risk-taking culture, as the group has greatly expanded its geographic and product presence over time, starting with absinthe and aniseed-flavored drinks in France to a portfolio of over 400 brands offered to customers and consumers in more than 160 countries.

You will join a brand new team comprising Data Scientists, a Data Engineer, a Software Engineer, a Data Steward and an Engagement lead working closely with the Deployment Lead and field experts. Reporting to the Data Steward, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics to support digital use cases within key digital programs:

• Understand business problems and translate them into technical requirements.
• Create simple, maintainable dashboards, reports or presentations to communicate results to business users.
• Collaborate with our data science teams to ensure that our work is consistent with business needs.
• Monitor the use and results of our algorithms.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analysis and other strategies that optimize the efficiency and quality of statistics.
• Filter and "clean" data by examining IT reports, printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work with the deployment team to prioritize business and information needs.
• Identify and define new opportunities for process improvement.
• Contribute actively to the data culture community.

• Experience in data analysis (indicative)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to presentation, detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with data science methods and scaling data science methods.
• Proven experience in creating reporting databases
• Strong ability to develop coherent, clear analyses
• Good knowledge of cloud computing. Knowledge of Azure is a plus
• Programming languages: SQL, Excel
• Data visualization : PowerBI
• Project management and support: JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Sharepoint
