QA Tester

As a test automation engineer, you will be involved throughout the software development cycle, checking that applications meet requirements and function correctly.

You will participate in the definition of the automation strategy and be responsible for the design and execution of functional tests (automated and/or manual) as well as non-regression tests.

You will be responsible for various tasks:

• Design of automated scripts based on functional and technical specifications
• Ensure repeatability and continuity of scripts as solutions evolve
• Prepare documentation and execution reports for each script run
• Propose new solutions to optimize test processes and reduce turnaround times.

• Defining the scope of automation
• Feasibility studies
• Identifying risk factors
• Development and maintenance of automation scripts
• Dataset creation
• Automated test execution and results analysis
• Performing part of the exploratory tests
• Create and track anomalies found

In collaboration with the department manager :

• Optimizing automated test strategy
• Optimization and updating of automation tools
  

Technical skills :

• Agile and V-cycle software development models
• Programming languages (Groovy, Perl, Python and Java)
• SQL databases (MSSQL / MySQL / Oracle)
• The main test automation tools (SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, TestManager, Postman and Selenium)
• You have a sense of service, good communication skills and are able to make suggestions.
• You are able to analyze and summarize, and have a strong aptitude for teamwork.
